iOS impression growth continues to increase at a regular pace, but Android is growing too fast for Apple’s platform to keep up. This comparison includes only iPhone VS Android phones, not tablets or PMPs. Android saw higher average fill rates and click-through rates, which means that those users are actually more valuable (IE, more likely to be reached through ads) than iOS users.

One reason for Android’s success seems to be its high number of first-time smartphone users. Advertisers are willing to pay more money to hit customers right as they first start down the path of smartphone ownership.

At the Gartner Symposium this week in Orlando, we caught up with Sue Forbes, vice president of apps and experiences at Motorola. She had the usual array of Android devices including the Droid Pro. A 3.1 inch touch screen with keyboard that’s pretty snazzy.

The conversation was timely given that CIOs at the Gartner powwow were all looking for information on supporting a wide range of devices. Apple’s iOS and Android were front and center. Simply put, the days of handing out phones is over.

Into this breach steps the Droid Pro, which has a series of features that deserve more attention. Among the key perks that will appeal to the corporation:

* The Droid Pro supports multiple VPNs.
* Motorola put a lot of work into the email client so you can add rich text like bold and underline and bullets. Simply put, your email doesn’t have to look like it came from a mobile device.
* The Droid Pro calendar app allows you to suggest a new time and check availability.

These items ride shotgun with the usual Android experience and widgets, apps and feeds that go along with it.

But what really caught me off guard was that I liked the Droid Pro. I had pretty much written off keyboards, but the Motorola keys stand out. And given I owned a Motorola Q back in the time, it’s safe to say that I was quite jaded. Overall, however, the Droid Pro is sharp and worked its way into my smartphone bake-off. I recently tried a Droid X that I also liked, but the use case between the Pro and X are vastly different. My smartphone tour is fun, but let’s face it: First device that works on Verizon’s LTE network is the one I get.

The backdrop here is that the Droid Pro is on the front lines of a Business Ready pitch by Motorola. Motorola is adding remote wipe of SD cards, complex passwords and other capabilities that will work in the enterprise environment. Motorola also has partnerships with enterprise players like Good Technology and Sybase. Meanwhile, Verizon will sell the Droid Pro into its enterprise accounts.

“Over time, ready for business will mean that a CIO will be able to meet all the requirements the business has on the checklist,” said Forbes.

In the big picture, the Droid Pro is the first device into the enterprise. An Android tablet will follow in early 2011. Motorola’s ultimate aim: Offer businesses a full line-up on Android devices that will allow tech executives to offer smartphone choices.

You have so much to do in this, but will require skills to be tested and will get upgraded with loads of maps to work on…Though a small set up cost is involved, the amount of things you can experiment with this game will never make you bored! You will always find something new every time!

4. Parallel Kingdom:

May not be the greatest game, but is a fantastic idea for a game on your Android mobile! This is an MMORPG that works using GPS functionality and Google Maps giving you a feeling of playing games in the real world, which is a real fantasy kingdom that you will love to travel with your kid. Never mind, if you could spend a few bugs on your net and the game, this is real fun playing and claiming territory.

5. Puzzle Box:

Combine Tetris and Bejewelled, this is a nicely and well presented puzzle game that is based on matching colored blocks on over more than 100 levels, and you will find that you will never be able to complete until one fine day, when you are ripe and old playing the game getting used to varying modes with increasing difficulties. However, the game comes with the ability to change mode and use you new weird ideas into testing.
6. Battle Sea:

Created by Teleca Poland, this is one game made for Android that will let you play against the CPU or a human opponent. If you are in connectivity, you can invite others in the gaming mode to battle against you. Well you can fight against a number of armies single-handed and be victorious King Louis who won the French battle.

7. Wi-Fi Army:

Sounds like an odd name! though not appealing, is inevitable and there is the technology where you can find a number of soon to be released Wi-Fi army, with some of the basic premises which uses the GPS to identify targets and kill by taking a photo of them. This is the kind of shooting game, but you will be shooting with a laser and will have fancy hunting people in the city.

8. Nesoid (NES Emulator):

This is not a real game and you will find this to be the most highly recommended and reviewed game for Android. This does cost you some amount of money, but will let you install NES ROMSand you will be able to play classics like Donkey Kong, Double Dragon and Final Fantasy. The best of the NES games are yet to come…

9. UniWar:

Are you looking out for a strategy based games to play in a multiplayer mode on Uni War that you will still have the time to check out and there will be loads of maps and 8 players to race and units to play games in campaign modes having anumber of missions and choices.

10. Radiant:

Space Invaders are getting into style and action with a number of Radiant offers to get you into a battle of excitement. There is someone for everyone to enjoy, and there is a classic shooting game with charges levied to capture and put that vicious and sly Alien causing devastation to your world. You have the drones, mother ships and meteors to tackle and fight to protect your home world from destruction. We are playing the bouncing cow game that you can abduct the bovine species that is created over cattle based avatars with little bonuses to encourage you as you go higher up in game.

If you can play this game then you are there to play the game of the “Simpsons” where you can sink your opponent’s battleship in filed ground of the oceanfront. Have you ever aimed to fight your opponent’s ship and is the greatestgames that could ever be devised. Well, you will find that you can never cheat and the game will look like setting your target using radar.

It is another popular game on Android that is not well known but is free and interesting to have fun. This is one of the second ball based games that the first thing to strike on how an incredible game that has multiplayer Android game mode, and can work online. Something that you can do is to keep the balls safe and sound to win.

When there is a game of sports that you always wanted to play on the field, I will never know that you will not miss this game of baseball. This one game for Android phones is being predominantly downloaded by the British websites. You could master the ball and control to focus on the exact location you want, and is a game that you will never like to miss playing at least once. This is an impressive cross-platform online multiplayer mode and has pin sharp 3D graphics.

21. Baseball Superstars 2010:

This is the second Korean baseball game that comes in the list of sports game for sports lovers. There is a bat, pitch and field where you can really tear to victory by training a custom player for embarking into a decade long career o dispatching balls in various ways. The fun in baseball is quite different from others.

22. Deal Or No Deal: Around The World:

Edmunds or your country’s favorite star host of the infamous “Deal or No Deal” program. If you are not getting the chance to show up in the show, and only wanted to have the thrill of guessing, then this is the best way and is the key to success in creating a tension to relax for a virtual cash value.

23. Galcon:

The arrival of Galcon looks like this has been ages, but is still not infamous. This game is a battle of planets with many features like multiplayer mode; collection of planets of differing core sizes, and those under your control keeps turning into green. Therefore, in the end you are the winner if you could get more number of greener planets.

24. Fruit Ninja:

This is the action based casual game of slicing fruits, you will find out why there is so much fun in this game. You get to slice fruits into two as they go up from the lobby. The game comes in two modes with a Classic mode, where you will get three chances to make a mistake, while in the Zen mode you will get to chop as much as possible within one and a half minutes.

25. Let’s Golf:

The Android version of this game of Golf is an excellent and pleasing to eyes, with some of the greener pastures and Sega blue skies making you strike every ball into the hole that you aim for with every elegant swing of greater preciseness.

The current version is Flash 10.1 and allows users to view and use most Flash based content on the web. Some users (this one included) have had problems with Flash rendering sites or games, but for the most part the support is there and works well. According to ZDNet in talking to Anap Murarka the director of technical marketing for mobile and devices for Adobe, some websites are forcing the browser to a mobile version of the site thus making Flash null and void. Also according to Murarka, Adobe as a “swat team” that “goes around to help make sites read correctly”. Basically, Adobe is aware of the slight or major performance issues of Flash on Android and is in the process of correcting them.

So, congratulations, Adobe for hitting the million mark. Here’s to another million! Oh, by the way, get back to work!

Poker website FullTiltPoker.com sent invitations to select members to take part in a beta for Rush Poker Mobile, an Android based version of the website’s fast-action poker games.

According to an email sent to members, players on select Android 2.2 devices would play poker with real money, a first for Android as far as I can tell. The legality of online poker has not been clearly defined in the United States, but there are U.S. phones among the list of devices that will be supported by Rush Poker Mobile. Other phones named include:

* HTC Desire
* HTC Desire HD
* HTC Droid Incredible
* HTC EVO 4G
* Google Nexus One
* Motorola Droid 2
* Motorola Droid Pro
* Motorola Droid X
* T-Mobile G2

The status of the app is only in beta, but we may soon see this app pop-up in the Android Market or available via a downloadable APK. Here’s a video showing off the app.

The issue cannot be replicated in other devices carrying Android 2.2, so it seems to be relegated to specifically the Droid 2 and its specific iteration of MotoBlur. Check out the following video to see the exploit in action.
